NEW in 2025: Family Area

During the street festival:

• A lovingly designed area for playing, painting, and crafting—perfect for children to let their creativity run wild

• A playmobile from the Riederwald Adventure Playground, which guarantees lots of fun

• Parasols, benches, and tables to relax

• Information stands

• Face painting for children and adults

• A historic Ferris wheel (open until the end of the event)

• Saturday: Child-friendly experiments on scientific phenomena – understandable, exciting, and hands-on

Note: The toilets in the Young/Historical Museum, including baby changing facilities, may be used. Additional baby changing facilities can be found in the toilet trailer at the Diversity Bazaar.

During the demonstration:

We will create a quiet area for families at the front of the demonstration, before the trucks arrive, where there will be no loud music or exhaust fumes. This way, you can walk along with the demonstration and enjoy it in a relaxed atmosphere. The early start also means you won't have to wait long (in the sun, in the worst case) for the demonstration to begin. The start is directly after the rally at 12:30 p.m. All families should line up on Braubachstraße, approximately at house number 35. There will also be a very long rainbow flag, which will “open” the family area of the demonstration, followed by the AIDS charity/rainbow crew and the bicycle taxis for our participants with disabilities. After that, the trucks and cars will start to line up, so it is very important that you make sure you are in position in good time. As this situation is also new for us, we ask for your understanding that after the rally we will only be able to try to direct the crowds.
